Self Introduction (Brief Version)
Name: XXX
Gender: ♂
Online Name: Spixed (/spaɪksɪd/)
You don’t need to understand the specific meaning of this name (because there isn’t one), and I don’t expect anyone to pronounce this word according to my idea. After all, this online name was inspired by the word “Spider” when I was bored one day, and then I randomly changed a few letters to get it. It is not any existing word.
Year of Birth: 2008
Year of Entry into Chengdu No. 20 Middle School: 2023
Address: Definitely in Chengdu~
Hometown: Zizhong, Neijiang, Sichuan
Identity: A member of the Class of 2026, a boarding student (not specifying the class, writing the class is afraid that some people will find me although it seems easy to guess who I am now)
Ps: Class of 2026 = Grade 2023, similarly Class of 2023 = Grade 2020, please be aware.
I won’t elaborate on hobbies here. If you are interested, you can check the About Me page on my blog.
Environment Introduction
TL;DR (It seems that words can’t save much data): The appearance after renovation is indeed quite good. Most of the interior is very clean, EXCEPT the boys’ dormitory & teachers’ dormitory building.
You can search for the external scenery of the school on the Internet, which is basically consistent. The teaching building should be very clean because it has been renovated for a few years. You can take a look during the school visit. I think these environments are still very well done.
Ps: The table and chair legs in No. 20 Middle School are slanted. There are two batches of tables (new and old, which can be easily identified by the color of the table and “traces of time”), but the drawers are relatively narrow and there are no barriers on the left and right sides (except for the table legs). If you are about to enter No. 20 Middle School, please remember to buy expansion tools such as desk side straps. However, please also note that the desk side strap should be equipped with a fixing rope around the table, but the area of the table in No. 20 Middle School that can be used to hold the rope is very narrow, and the rope falls off easily, so it is recommended to buy a desk side bookcase (but if you meet a certain grade director, then use the desk side strap first, which will be introduced in detail below).
Everything else is easy to say. Next, I will focus on the dormitory situation. I believe that the dormitory promoted to you by No. 20 Middle School is very clean, with three beds per room, and a desk under the bed for each bed, which looks very comfortable. Yes, this is indeed the dormitory of No. 20 Middle School, BUT it is limited to the girls’ dormitory.

The following is a comparison table compiled based on personal experience & consultation with classmates. Ensure that the following information is objective and fair.
Comparison Table of Dormitory Characteristics of No. 20 Middle School

| Bed type | Bunk beds, one bed per person, and the damage is a bit serious | Bed on top, desk below |
| Toilet type | Two dormitories on the left and right share one toilet. One toilet has 3 pits and showers arranged in rows. If you don’t install it at your own expense (or inherit the legacy of the previous session), there is no curtain; there is a mirror at the washstand; there are facilities such as exhaust fans (not sure if they can be turned on or if they are turned on); the upper floor leaks; some shower heads have problems, such as water leakage, low water pressure, etc. | Each dormitory has a toilet, a bathroom and a balcony; all have exhaust fans, power off after lights out; there is a mirror at the washstand, and there is a small sink next to it (used to wash mops) |

Dormitory schedule (Senior 1 & Senior 2, Senior 3 unknown, 24.5.26): 20:00, day students go home, boarding students stay for the second evening self-study (20:10 ~ 21:40), school ends at 21:40 and return to the dormitory, lights out around 22:20 (this depends on whether your dorm manager is on time), lights on at 6:30 the next day. After lights out every night, no electrical appliances other than air conditioners can work. The three-hole socket of the air conditioner has been modified and is slightly wider than the normal three-hole socket (Don’t ask me how I know).
In addition, mobile phones can be handed over to the head teacher/dorm manager. If handed over to the dorm manager, you can ask the dorm manager for it on Friday morning (if handed over to the head teacher, you need to wait until school ends at 18:40).

24.5.26 The author is tired of typing… The author has always wanted to enter the teacher segment as soon as possible, but it seems that there are still many other contents to explain to you…
Canteen
Regarding the canteen, I believe you should have heard that the canteen of No. 20 Middle School is very delicious. I declare my attitude here: You can’t disbelieve it all, nor can you believe it all.
It is indeed delicious. The dishes in the canteen of No. 20 Middle School are still very diverse. Like the author himself, I like to eat Mao Cai, rice noodles, old duck soup noodles and some dishes in the set meal. However, one point needs to be explained in advance here: Dishes will be repeated. You can even find patterns in the Mao Cai window and the noodle window. 5 days a week, if the author remembers correctly, there will be one meal of Mao Cai every day, and the other meal is one of several dishes such as various rice bowls/fried river noodles/pasta/… Eating too much Mao Cai actually tastes the same. The vegetables inside are eternally unchanged, most of the meat is frozen food (such as shrimp dumplings), and some are Mao Duck; vegetables are basically 0.7cm thick potatoes, lotus roots, cauliflower, etc. Rice bowls and fried noodles vary from person to person. Anyway, I think they are basically not very delicious, especially the black pepper pork chop rice. Because of some things that happened to the author before, I want to vomit every time I eat this thing (personal reason, does not represent those who love to eat). However, when this window serves non-Mao Cai dishes, it will give you an additional dish (a grilled sausage/half a chicken steak/a box of small yogurt).
25.2.2 Ps: Because my family made me eat ¥9.9 steak every morning for 2 weeks before, I vomited after eating too much…
For noodles, I think most noodles are quite delicious. The noodle arrangement is changed every day at noon, fixed as beef noodles on Friday, and Zha Jiang noodles are made at night after the remaining soup at noon is used up. Eating too much Zha Jiang noodles will be annoying, and it is also relatively dry. There are seasonings (chili sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, MSG, soup, green onion & coriander) near the noodle window for you to adjust the taste yourself.
Ps: The author doesn’t know whether it is Zha Jiang Mian (Mixed Sauce Noodles) or Zha Jiang Mian (Fried Sauce Noodles). After all, as a Sichuanese - whether it is the speaker or the listener - we don’t distinguish between flat and curled tongues. This phenomenon is actually quite normal.
There are 10+ types of set meal dishes in total (haven’t counted specifically), all edible. Each set meal has 3 dishes. There is a fixed leg (braised chicken leg/spicy duck leg) on Thursday night. Some are indeed not very delicious, and it is a bit difficult to comment on how each meal is specifically (sometimes all three dishes are delicious, sometimes they are all average). Overall, the set meal has more varieties and richer flavors than other dishes. Some dishes are also the “killer feature” of the set meal.
There are five people, There are three canteens - the old canteen, the new canteen, and the teacher canteen; the former is built downstairs in the boys’ dormitory, and the latter two are downstairs in the girls’ dormitory. The new canteen is relatively small, and it is basically full when it is our turn to eat. The old canteen is larger, but it is also difficult to find a group of empty seats (referring to 4 or more and adjacent).
Activities
There are also many activities in No. 20 Middle School. I may not remember some activities clearly. I will add them when I have a chance. The following are the activities we have participated in from enrollment to before the article modification time:
Summer camp within 2 weeks after volunteering reporting; Entrance training (don’t know if this counts); Sports meeting; Choir competition (only in the first semester of Senior 1); Large and small lectures (the most grand one was inviting Academician Qi Faren to give a lecture on 24.5.24); Graduation song and dance party; 7-day tour in Beijing in 2024.8; Autumn outing in the first semester of 2024 (Physics class went to UESTC Qingshuihe Campus, History class went to climb mountains in the suburbs of Chengdu) etc.
25.2.2 Patch: All the above activities were participated by Grade 2023 (the 7-day tour in Beijing was voluntary participation, you can choose not to go).
According to the head teacher, the premise of having so many activities is to have a kind grade director (Brother Xiang) who is willing to pay a lot of effort for the development of the grade.
Other Matters
Just wait for the author to add slowly…
If you have anything to add, you can comment. The author will persist in checking comments irregularly and updating irregularly.
Next is what the author looks forward to most, and it is also the core part of this article - introducing teacher resources. Only applicable to students of Class of 2026 and Class of 2029. Students of other grades can just watch for fun.
Teacher Introduction
I have seen introductions about No. 20 Middle School on the Internet, and there are basically no detailed introductions to each teacher. After careful consideration sudden illness, I decided to focus on writing this part myself.
I will give a more detailed and as objective as possible introduction to the teachers of each subject I am familiar with. If this part is gone one day, please remember to burn some paper money for me (bushi).
Most of the classic quotes are also the catchphrases of teachers of various subjects. After the first semester, you may not help laughing every time you hear the keywords, but after a long time, everyone generally gets used to it and won’t laugh (of course, others may laugh when you imitate the teacher’s classic quotes).
I know you may not feel anything in your heart when you read these classic quotes, but if you enter the campus of No. 20 Middle School with an understanding of their classic quotes, you will have the same feeling as when I wrote down the classic quotes /doge.
Photos will be posted when I get to Senior 3 (or taken and the author has time). I will telegram handle overly tacky and indecent titles.
Chinese: Luo Xiuling ♀
Title: *** (may be unique to our class)
Classic Quotes: Sentence-final particle “Ha”, repeating the last sentence just said.
(Retiring in 2026, so no detailed elaboration)
Mathematics, Head Teacher, Grade Director: Tao Xiang ♂
Title: Xiang Zi, Brother Xiang, Teacher Xiang (from Mr. Li below), tx,
Tencent, Tao Xiang
Classic Quotes: “Let’s say”/“How to say”, “AABB” type words (standard, clear and plain, safe and sound), “ponder”, “right”, “Gua Mi Gua Yan (ghostly eyes, melon of melons)”
He has made huge contributions to carrying out many activities for the grade (e.g. applying for autumn outing, applying to use the Liyue Hall to show movies for the grade, applying for a 7-day tour in Beijing, etc.). His class will have a unique “collective birthday party” in the grade when in Senior 2 (students who have birthdays in a certain month have to make a speech in the class, talking about their birthday feelings and relatives’ feelings).
Generally speaking, it is hard to say. More than ten years of experience as a head teacher makes him indeed able to “predict” behavior (for example, someone in our class went out to play ball in the chaos at noon, and when he came back, he found him guarding the class door waiting for those few. In the class meeting, he told us that he “knew someone was going out to play ball long ago, I specially took a comfortable nap before coming to catch you”). He has a lot of information sources, and he also has “interrogation” techniques. Sometimes he is very good, sometimes he is very explosive. Privately, I can say that he is even a bit “naughty” (
a taste of an old urchin).I once swiped that someone (probably from Grade 2020) said on Zhihu “Cherish life, stay away from tx”. My opinion is that if this light sentence can influence your opinion of a person, then I suggest you go back to the furnace to rebuild. Human nature is always three-dimensional and multi-faceted. Only by seeing its advantages and disadvantages can you say that you are just starting to understand this person. If you avoid No. 20 Middle School and avoid tx just because of this sentence, you will lose many unique opportunities, and there is a high probability that there are ones you value very much.
English: Wang Shunchang ♂
Title: Brother Chang (from Mr. Tao, Brother Jian, etc.), ** (also unique to the class… right?)
Classic Quotes: comma(s), “Your action is [a bit/not at all] handsome”, “Quick ↗ point”
The gentlest and kindest teacher, often “bullied” by us; the teacher who lives the most openly (from Brother Jian); once taught at Chongqing No. 8 Middle School (seems like it?)
Physics: Han Ju ♀
Title: Ju Ju, Ju Sang, Xiao Ju
A woman with a height of 170, are you afraid?
Classic Quotes: “Old actor”, “That’s it”, “There is only one disease ── called laziness”, “The only constant in this universe is that it is always changing”, “I only save those who are destined”, “hou tou” (meaning inside)
Chemistry: Wang Yamin ♀
Title: Yamin, Sister Min (from Brother Jian)
Classic Quotes: “I have a drop…, but I have a big basin…”, “Water (suǐ)”, “Alcohol (cún)”, “Tertiary (shú)”, “Volumetric flask without capacity is streaking”, “Original is the best”
Biology: Zheng Jian ♂

Classic Quotes: “So the question comes”/“If you have no problem, I have a problem”, “If you insist on (omitted here) in the future, please remember to wear Tao (there is a homophone here)”
Often calls himself the “deputy head teacher” of our class; some teachers called him Teacher Zheng and we almost didn’t react who it was.
